A living manifestation of a computer virus, NewMessage: is a computer worm that, starting from November 23, 2023, has infected computers worldwide. It propagates through email messages with the subject line "NewMessage:" and an attachment named "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs.", Opening this attachment triggers the activation of a Visual Basic script. The worm causes harm to the host machine by overwriting random files. It duplicates itself to all addresses within the Windows Address Book utilized by Microsoft Outlook, it spreads much faster compared to previous email worms.
